Are Exotvio Miami Cuban links handmade?

Yes. Exotvio Miami Cuban chains and bracelets are traditionally handmade in Miami. Links are formed, individually soldered closed, hand-filed for shape and alignment, and polished to their final finish.

What metal is underneath the gold finish?

Our current Miami Cuban chains and bracelets use premium .970 silver as the base metal.

Are the gold-finished pieces solid gold?

No. The finished piece is not solid gold. It is a .970 silver piece finished with Exotvio’s Real 14K Gold Bonded process.

Does the finishing process use real 14K gold?

Yes. Our process begins with real solid 14K gold. The gold is melted and formed into the source material used in the plating bath, where a controlled electrical current transfers gold onto the surface of the handmade silver piece. Our pieces remain in this process for approximately eight hours.

How long does production take?

Each Exotvio piece is made to order. Orders are typically completed within approximately 10–15 business days after full payment and order confirmation, unless a different timeframe is stated for the order. Business days exclude weekends and public holidays; production timelines are estimates, not guarantees.

How long does shipping take?

Once production is complete and your order has been handed to the shipping carrier, delivery is estimated at an additional 3–5 business days. Once the carrier accepts the package, Exotvio is not responsible for carrier-caused delivery delays beyond our control. We can assist with tracking and carrier inquiries. This does not affect any rights or remedies required by law.

What happens if a package is stolen or delivered to the wrong address?

If tracking confirms delivery to the address provided on the order and the package is later stolen, Exotvio does not automatically refund or replace it. Please report suspected theft to the shipping carrier and, where appropriate, local law enforcement. If the carrier delivered to the wrong address or lost the package, contact the carrier to open an investigation and notify Exotvio with your order number and tracking information. We will assist with records or file a claim if the carrier requires the shipper to do so. Are the listed gram weights exact?

No. Each listing shows an approximate weight range based on the available lengths. Because every Cuban is handmade, final weight can vary slightly from piece to piece.

How should I care for the gold finish?

Avoid chlorine, saltwater, harsh chemicals, aggressive cleaners, and unnecessary abrasion. Wipe the piece with a soft dry cloth after wear and store it dry. See our Gold Bonded Jewelry Care Guide for more detail.

What is the Exotvio Trade-Up Program?

Eligible authentic Exotvio Cuban links may be evaluated toward a higher-priced eligible Exotvio piece. Trade-in value is determined after inspection based on condition, specifications, and current value.

Can I get help choosing a size?

Yes. Review the Miami Cuban Size Guide or speak with Exotvio before ordering if you want help comparing width, length, wrist fit, or approximate weight.

Are custom or personalized jewelry orders final sale?

Yes. Pieces made or altered specifically for you—including custom designs, locks, engraved items, and special dimensions—are final sale once your specifications have been approved and you have made a deposit or payment. No voluntary refunds, cancellations, or exchanges are offered on these orders, and custom-order payments are non-refundable for change-of-mind reasons. Standard catalog Cuban links still follow our separate standard-order return policy. The final-sale rule does not remove legally required remedies for Exotvio errors or manufacturing defects.

What if my custom item arrives incorrect or has a manufacturing defect?

Report the issue to info@exotvio.com within 48 hours of carrier-confirmed delivery with your order number and photos. We assess the problem and, for verified Exotvio errors or manufacturing defects, generally repair, correct, or remake the piece at no charge. Do not return an item without instructions. Normal wear, misuse, accidents and third-party alterations are excluded from manufacturing-defect coverage. Applicable statutory remedies are not restricted by this reporting request.

Does EXOTVIO offer a craftsmanship warranty?

Yes. Eligible handmade EXOTVIO Cuban-link chains and bracelets have a one-year limited craftsmanship warranty from delivery for verified workmanship defects involving solder joints, links and clasps/locks under normal intended use. Covered issues are repaired, corrected or replaced at no charge after inspection, including covered components of custom pieces. Report issues apparent on delivery within 48 hours of delivery for prompt help; that request does not shorten the one-year warranty. Read the full warranty.

Is gold bonding or gold plating covered by the one-year warranty?

No. EXOTVIO provides no voluntary or express warranty on gold bonding, gold plating, or any applied gold finish. Finish fading, color changes, peeling, rubbing off, tarnishing, and discoloration are not covered. The craftsmanship warranty also excludes damage caused by chemicals, physical abuse, crushing, pulling, contact with other jewelry or objects, accidents, or improperly performed outside repairs. Can I get my gold-bonded or gold-plated EXOTVIO jewelry replated?

Yes. Eligible EXOTVIO gold-finished pieces may be replated for $1.40 per gram, subject to inspection and verified gram weight. Contact us for service instructions, insured shipping arrangements, and a quote for any additional work. Replating is optional paid maintenance, not part of the one-year craftsmanship warranty: gold bonding, gold plating, and applied gold finishes have no EXOTVIO voluntary finish warranty.
